Summer is here, that means SUMMER JDRAMAS!

Well the NY Asian Film Festival, is coming to a close.. did any of you get to see any of the movies? As predicted, I didn't get to see too many this year due to work, but not all is lost. If you use Keyhole TV (which lets you watch live Japanese TV), stream Jdramas, or torrent them, then I'm sure you all are getting ready for the 2009 Summer Dramas!

This seems like a good spy comady about a convicted swindler turned spy against terrorists.

A story of Yakuza bosses working as nurses? Humm could be interesting!



MW Dai-0-sho(The Devil’s Game)

I'm actually interested in this one even though the story isn't taken from the manga.Takashi Morioka,is forced to stain his hands in evil, after losing his job and home due to the recession! He has to outwit Yuki Michio while protecting everything that is important to Morioka.


Buzzer Beater

About a salaryman who belongs to his company’s basketball team, and falls in love with a girl who is a bit shy (een though he has a girlfriend already)

K-Drama ‘You Are My Destiny’ is going to be aired In Japan!

The KBS1 drama “You Are My Destiny” will be aired on the Japanese cable channel Eisei Gekijo from May 19. Yoona, a member of idol girl band Girls` Generation stars in this K-Drama... didn't know this drama was so popular.. I may have to watch this online!


Synopsis

Jang Sae Byuk is a a girl who tries to find a new meaning in life after she receives an eye cornea transplant from the doctor that took care of her after her accident. That doctor, Kim Na Young, died in a car accident on her way back from Africa. Sae Byuk becomes close with the Na Young's family after finding them. The family slowly accepts her as part of the family. Kang Ho Se and Kim Tae Poong, Na Young's twin brother, have disliked each other since they were young kids. This is mostly Tae Poong hates Ho Se because Ho Se's family was rich and because Tae Poong's father was Ho Se's father's driver and his mother was the maid.

Actor Hiro Mizushima, and Singer Ayaka tell reporters that they have been married since February!!!

I happened to see a news special on Keyhole TV. I think it was Fuji TV , but it was a news cast with J-Drama actor Hiro Mizushima and singer Singer Ayaka. The two held a press conference announcing that they recently got married. In addition, Ayaka revealed that she will be putting her music career on hold.

Mizushima told the press,

She is indispensable to me. I thought, if I let go of her, I'll regret it my entire life." Ayaka commented, "My first impression of him was that he had really powerful eyes, and he could completely see through me. Right now, he is someone I respect from the bottom of my heart.

The two first met three years ago, started seriously dating in August and decided to register their marriage on February 22. They are too cute together!

Later in the press conference Ayaka stated that she became ill with Graves' disease, an autoimmune disorder. She reported that her symptoms have been increasing,so as a result, Ayaka will continue with her music until the end of this year. After that, she will take a break to receive further treatment.

Ayaka is a pop singer with an amazing voice.
She was done work for the psp game Final Fantasy VII:CC lending her vocals for the ending song titled "Why"

She also sang the theme song for the Drama Zettai Kareshi which her now husband was casted.


Well congrats to them both on their marriage! And GOODLUCK AYAKA.. at least she had Hiro to be by her side! Love is great!
